My Story
A few years ago, I found myself searching for something deeper, something to help me feel more connected, more grounded, more like myself. That feeling led me back to yoga.. It had always been there in the background, but I’d never really explored it with intention.
At first, it was just a way to move and breathe — but slowly, it became something more. Yoga started to feel like home. It gave me space to listen inward, to soften, to reconnect — not just with my body, but with my heart and energy. It helped me remember who I was underneath all the noise.
Eventually, I felt called to understand it more deeply. I travelled to Rishikesh, India — the birthplace of yoga — and completed my 200-hour teacher training. I didn’t go there planning to teach; I went to learn, to soak it all in. But when I started sharing what I’d learned with the people around me, I saw how much it resonated. That’s when I realised this practice wasn’t just for me — it was something I was meant to pass on.
I later returned to Rishikesh for my 300-hour training, this time with a clear intention to teach and share. What I found there went far beyond techniques or postures. I was introduced to the roots of yoga — the philosophy, the lineage, the soul of the practice. I learned about the Eight Limbs of Yoga — especially the Yamas and Niyamas, the guiding principles for living with more awareness, compassion, and presence. Those teachings still shape how I move through life, both on and off the mat.
Through Kaya Yoga, I share this practice in a way that’s real and grounding. Whether it’s a one-to-one session or a group space, I hold space for breath, stillness, and connection — a space where you can come home to yourself.
Yoga isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being present. And for me, it’s a path that keeps bringing me back to what matters most. I’m honoured to share it with you.
Whether it’s through 1:1 sessions or group spaces, my intention is always the same: to help you return to yourself.
